There are also new types of wood (crimson and warped planks), which is a wonderful update for Minecraft architects. The Nether now even has its own trees, which consist of Nether Wart Stems and Nether Wart Blocks. Two new types of mushrooms have also appeared, which are available in a red and blue variant. Crimson and Warped Nylium are plants which, apart from Red Nether Vine, only occur in the Nether. Vegetation can also be found in the new biomes of the Nether.
